my first skirt!

I'm so excited. I sewed my very first skirt today! Thank you to this tutorial from This Big Oak Tree!!! It was so simple and easy to follow. I cannot wait to make many more in every color.

Like most preppy girls, I am obsessed with Lilly dresses. Unlike most preppy girls, I can't afford a closet full of them (note to girls with full closets: please send me your hand me downs). I have a bank account but I tend to spend all my money on food...so this will hopefully keep me motivated to save all my spare dollars! Yay!
